This is another snapshot of Sharon and Molly Sue’s life, but now with Will. They seem to be the perfect little family.

Will is feeling old feelings for Sharon and he is falling in love with having a family, a child. And Molly Sue is so easy to love.

We see Will misread the signs and attempts to kiss Sharon in a passionate move. At first Sharon responds instinctively but then the walls come up and she pushes away.

In the end though, she has softened and we may see the beginning of relationship restoration.

Will also gains a little more insight into Buddy. Molly Sue doesn’t respond negatively at all when Buddy is discussed.

They feel that they may have figured out that Buddy is a well meaning and helpful neighbor and yes he is, but with a twist.

If you were to plan what is to happen with Will and Sharon, how would you plan it out? Not for dramas sake, but if they were real life people, how would you write the script of their future?

The easy way would be for Sharon to get custody of Molly Sue, then she and Will get married. And because we naturally want that, we get annoyed at Sharon for pushing Will away. We want to scream no!!!

We want to paint it like a Hallmark movie where there is always a happy ending where the two we pick always wind up together.

We do that in life too. We see something and decide this is the best way. We see what we believe looks the best, the best path, the best plan to take.

But sometimes we don’t see everything. Life isn’t a straight road and we can’t always see around the bend. We don’t know what is looming in our future or the future of others.

Often we don’t even bother to pray about certain things because the choice looks obvious, that is with the limited knowledge that we have.

I have found though that praying for even simple things often saves a ton of heartache.

It is obvious that Will and Sharon love each other and gaining custody of Molly Sue and then adoption is a match made in heaven. That is if Molly Sue’s real mother isn’t found. If she is, what then?

Should that happen will Sharon and Will’s relationship be able to weather the storm, or was it just Molly Sue that had brought them back together.

I’ve actually known people that came together because one or the other had a child and they were drawn to the child or drawn to being a parent as much as they were drawn to the person.

And that won’t sustain a relationship. Marriages must be based on prayer, deep love for each other, and then love for the child. Children grow up, but a marriage should last forever.

If you are a single parent, make sure the person you are dating is more in love with you than they are with the idea of marriage and a family, and the children you already have.

It may be hard to push away if you see the warning signs, but in the long run it will be a choice you were glad you made.
